The Woman Who Knew The All

In a Gnostic text discovered in 1945 near Nag Hammadi, Egypt called Dialogue of the Savior, Mary Magdalene is praised as someone who has a special understanding of Jesus' teachings:

Mary said, "Thus with respect to 'the wickedness of each day,' and 'the laborer is worthy of his food,' and 'the disciple resembles his teacher.'" She uttered this as a woman who had understood completely.

In one translation of this passage, instead of calling her a woman "who had understood completely," she is called a woman "who knew the All." This is a poetic rendering of the verse, and we've chosen it as a tagline for Magdalene.org to reflect her special status in scripture and in legend.
