- The Blue Letter Bible allows you to search the entire text of the Bible and also see what your passage looks like in the original language. Very helpful if you want to get very detailed information about an individual word or phrase.
- Nag Hammadi Library, the best resource for Gnostic beliefs. This database is fully searchable, but I've found that it doesn't always pull up all of the references it should. Still good in a pinch when you don't have your books handy.
- Early Christian Writings, with texts listed chronologically from 30 CE to 250 CE.
- New Testament Gateway, a priceless site for beginning any textual exploration of the New Testament. Maintained by University of Birmingham Dept. of Theology and Religion professor Dr. Mark Goodacre.
